Child Mortality/Near Fatality Review Video Conference Training*
For County and Tribal Child Protection Staff, Law Enforcement, County
Attorneys, Medical Examiners/Coroners, and Other Members of the
County's Multidisciplinary Child Mortality Review Teams
Each session will cover different topics related to child mortality review. Each Session will be broadcast via VPC to 16 sites in the morning and repeated at 16 different sites in the afternoon. Child protection staff and members of the county review teams are encouraged to attend all three sessions.

Session III - Death Scene Investigation and Medical Evidence
- Importance of thorough death scene investigations, careful evaluation of medical evidence and cooperative relationships between agencies that work to protect children in order to accurately determine how a child died and whether maltreatment was involved.
- Provided from the perspective of a child abuse expert, physician, law enforcement, medical examiner/coroner and county attorney.
