- Statewide resource for education, system development, and research on pediatric emergency medicine.
- Collaborative program with the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and the Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board.
- Improves pediatric emergency care through development of strong community systems and partnerships.
- Continuing education for physicians and nurses include Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) and a conference on pediatric emergency care.
- Participation in governmental task forces, regional emergency services programs, and professional organizations to advocate for children who are critically ill and/or injured.
- Access to resources of other local, regional, and national associations and agencies on pediatric emergency care.
- Commitment to conduct research that improves pediatric emergency care.
- Educational and outreach programs are available to professionals and health care organizations on pediatric emergency care
